Howard Johnson By Wyndham Airport – Hotel near airport in Louisville

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but unfortunately, the room I got was VERY small. The service was friendly and accommodating, especially when they went out of their way to satisfy my daughter's juice craving by turning on the juice machine after hours. The location was good for our activities, although I wouldn't choose to return next year. The dining options fell short, with a limited selection that left much to be desired.

The hotel's location is convenient for the KY Expo Center but falls short in various aspects. The rooms had a strong, unpleasant smell, clearly violating the non-smoking policy. Service was deceitful and concerning, attempting to add extra charges and providing misinformation about smoking policies. While close to some attractions, safety and service issues overshadow the location's benefits. The dining options were lackluster, with stale selections that did not match the description of a proper breakfast experience.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, very close to Kentucky Kingdom and convenient to the highway. The rooms, while clean, could benefit from some updates, and were a bit on the smaller side for four occupants. The service was friendly and accommodating, though some facility upgrades are needed. The dining options were limited, with mostly stale cereal or donuts offered. Overall, the experience was what we expected, with great proximity to the attractions we planned on visiting.
